About The Hyderabad Botanical Garden:
The Hyderabad Botanical Garden, located in Kothaguda, Kondapur, Hitec City, is a 274-acre botanical garden developed by the Telangana Forest Department.
Situated close to HITEC City and Madhapur, the garden is a perfect place to explore the flora and fauna of this region. This garden is also known as Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Botanical Garden named in honour of Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Spanning 270 acres of Kothaguda Reserve Forest, Hyderabad Botanical Gardens is a paradise for nature lovers. Developed with the goal of cultivating and protecting various species of plants and trees, this majestic garden will leave you in awe.
The beautiful walking trails in this garden will ensure that you have an unforgettable experience. The park also offers amazing adventures for everyone, from children to adults!

The garden has been planned and divided into 19 sections. As of now, five sections have been completed with sections dedicated to medicinal plants, timber trees, fruit trees, ornamental plants, aquatic plants, cactus plants and bamboos, and so on.
The park also has a butterfly park, a rose garden, and a cactus garden. Wild animal fibre murals also have been added which children will adore. An indoor gym with modern equipment, an open gym, an open Yoga platform, and a meditation centre, plus a 3km walking path have been constructed within the conservation zone of the park.
This park features expansive water bodies, grasslands, and stunning rock formations. There is also an abundance of lush greenery, with tall trees providing a breathtaking vista.
